Changes to online booking for EU shipments.

Please be advised when booking from January 4th, you will be required to supply additional customs information for shipments going to EU countries.

You will see a new customs information and commodities boxes on the booking screen. These will need to be opened and as much information as possible supplied in order to avoid potential delays to clearance. 

We ask everyone to provide an accurate description of goods and contact information for the receiver, including telephone number and email address if possible. 

Vague descriptions, such as "Samples or Garments" will result in transit time delays until the correct contents can be established.

Changes to information required on Imports to the UK

From January 1st, the customs rules in the UK have changed for imports.

New Rates Published and effective January 1st, 2021

Please be advised that due to annual rate increases from our suppliers, along with new Brexit related customs processes, our rates will change effective January 1st.  Please contact us for a copy of the new tariff. 

Covid-19 Service Update -  January 4th 2021


**SEVERE SERVICE DISRUPTION**

We are still experiencing severe delays on inbound and outbound material due to flight restrictions.  We had hoped that flights would have resumed by now, but unfortunately this is not the case. 

We will post updates here throughout the day as we receive them, but please be advised that with immediate effect, we cannot confirm delivery times outside the UK or for import material. 


Please Note - You can still ship and receive whilst working from home.  If using our online system, simply change the collection address at the time booking.  Timings may vary as some areas will have earlier cut-off times than others. 

Import Surcharge effective until further notice.

The airlines we utilise to bring shipments are still imposing an additional per kilo surcharge.  Unfortunately, as much as we wish we could, we are not able to absorb the additional cost and must therefore pass this on to our customers. 

The surcharge will be £1.90 per kilo and applied to all import shipments.

We are of course doing all we can to source alternative, cheaper solutions. 

Temporary changes to collection times

We are now reviewing our collection schedules twice weekly.  For the time being, we will maintain the below until demand begins to increase:

 

Central London Collections - Last booking time 12:30, latest collection approx 14:00, depending on the postcode.

Rest of UK Collections - Last booking time 11:00-12:00 (depending on location)

We hope that the current situation will start to improve in the near future, allowing us to revert to our usual business operations. 

In the meantime, we are still in a position to offer regular International Express Services through our integrator partners (destination permitting), UK Domestic Overnight and UK Special Same-day services.  

Should you require any services outside of these hours, we are able to make arrangements with prior notice.
