Surcharges

Fuel Surcharge - Currently 39.50%
This variable surcharge is applied to the weight charge of each shipment and any transportation related surcharges. Is it derived from publicly available fuel oil indices. The charge is adjusted each month to the oil price that was current two months prior to the billing month. The fuel surcharge applies to domestic and international shipments.

Remote Area
This surcharge applies when a shipment is collected from or delivered to a location that is distant or difficult to serve. The remote area surcharge applies to international and domestic shipments.

Oversize Piece
This fixed surcharge applies to every piece, including a pallet, that exceeds the scale weight of 70kg or with a single dimension in excess of 120cm (100cm for domestic). The oversize piece surcharge applies to domestic and international shipments.

Non Stackable Pallet
This fixed surcharge is applied to every pallet within a shipment that cannot be stacked, either on request by the shipper, or because of its shape, content or packaging. This surcharge applies to domestic and international shipments.

Dangerous Goods
This surcharge is applied to any shipment that contains substances or commodities that are classified as hazardous. It applies to domestic and international shipments.

Lithium Batteries
A surcharge may apply per shipment when the handling and transportation of shipments involves Lithium Ion or Lithium Metal batteries compliant with the appropriate IATA Packing Instructions 966,967,969 and 970, Section II. This service is only available through our Integrator network. Please contact our team for more information.

Address Correction
This fixed surcharge is applied to any shipment that has an incorrect delivery address at the time of pickup and the delivery cannot be completed after making efforts at the destination to define the correct address. This surcharge applies to domestic and international shipments.

DDP - Duties and Taxes Paid
Royale International can arrange for the shipper or a third party to be billed for any applicable duties and taxes payable at the destination, instead of the receiver of the shipment being billed. Charges apply whenever the shipper requests that duties, taxes or other regulatory fees be paid outside of the destination country.

EU Destination Taxes / Disbursement Fees

Above charges will be converted to GBP at current exchange rate where DDP service is requested.

In addition to the above, a DDP charge of GBP20.00 per shipment will be applied where you request Delivery Duty Paid service.

If you send the shipment as DAP, then the charges in the table will need to be collected from the receiver prior to delivery taking place.
